About us
The second half of the 1380s,some of prominent international realations in Iran who interacted and co-operated with the professors of this field at the international level, thought that they would jointly set up an association that would Establish this discipline inside the country. In this regard, some of the professors, including Dr. Mehdi Zakrian, have come to the decision to consult with other professors inside and outside the country in order to shape this issue and prepare a plan for the presentation. As a result, a group of university professors joined together to form the founding group.

 

Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif, Dr. Davood Bavand, Dr. Seyed Javad Emam Jumezadeh, Dr. Seyed Hossein Seifzadeh, Dr. Ahmad Nagibzadeh and Dr. Mohammad Reza Takhshid were among the key members of the founding board of this association. This group of lecturers from the field as a Founding Board presented their application to the Ministry of Science. This project and the names of the participants were discussed and discussed by the Ministry of Science with the representative of the Founding Board, which was finally approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 1385(2006).


Among the primary goals of the founders of this association, it is possible to strengthen the communication of the professors of this field and promote the status of the field of international relations internally, as well as strengthening the Iranian perspective on international relations and strengthening international cooperation.

Another important goal of the founder of the Association was the expansion, promotion and promotion of the scientific and applied sciences of the decision-making academics and decision-makers of the country and the development of the qualifications of the special forces and the improvement of educational and research affairs in the field of international relations, political science and international studies.
